Microsoft reveals UK Kinect pricing
Motion sensing camera to cost £129.99 with Kinect Adventures

Microsoft has revealed its Kinect motion sensing camera will cost £129.99 in the UK, according to reports.
However, there's still no UK release date for the add-on that will enable Xbox users to play games by moving parts of their body, rather than a handheld controller. The technology can also identify different people's faces and recognise different voices.
Kinect will be made available on November 4 in the US, where it will cost $150 (about £98). It will also come with a copy of Kinect Adventures - a game collection compatible with the motion-sensing camera that includes a white water rapids race and a ball batting game.

Microsoft also said it will offer a much smaller version of the Xbox 360 that comes with 4GB flash memory rather than an integrated hard drive. Priced at £149.99, it will be available from August 20 and features a matt black finish and built-in Wi-fi adaptor.
The company is planning to bundle the Kinect camera with the new Xbox and Kinect Adventures for £249.99. However, Microsoft didn't offer a release date for the bundle.

"With full body, voice and multiplayer play straight out of the box, Kinect is a unique way for everyone to enjoy controller-free fun and entertainment."
