Developers are being encouraged to enter the Apigee Digital Accelerator Awards, being organised by the API technology company.
The free-to-enter awards will recognise those "dissolving data silos and creating new IT efficiencies" and "delivering unique and personalised digital customer experiences", as well as those helping to build the emerging Internet of Things (IoT), Apigee said.
Submissions are open until 1 August and winners will be recognised at Apigee's upcoming "I Love APIs" conference on 9 September in San Francisco.

Digital Accelerator Awards submissions are open globally to any organisation or individual using APIs. A panel of digital experts from Apigee will evaluate the entries and choose finalists and winners in each category.
The awards include a diverse range of categories, from individual API program developers to businesses that are contributing new innovations for the Internet of Things.
Chet Kapoor, Apigee CEO, said: "These awards recognise outstanding companies and individuals from across the globe who are successfully leveraging the building blocks of digital business - APIs and data - to create new business value and boost innovation."
Winners of the Digital Accelerator Awards will receive a trophy, a complimentary pass to the I Love APIs Conference, recognition during a general session on day one of the conference in front of 1,500 digital leaders, and the opportunity to speak at the conference.
Prizes will also include a video interview filmed by Apigee showcasing the winners' digital success stories, and a press and social media campaign to publicise the winners' achievements.
