A Scandinavian software company is looking to launch a single software ERP product for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Mamut Software, which is based in Norway, claims to be able to offer a hosted single product that offers a variety of features without the need to upgrade infrastructure.
Mamut One offers ERP, payroll, ecommerce and stock control on a single system, as well as providing messaging and calendaring. It is offered under three separate pricing schemes: gold, silver and bronze.
Bryan Richter, UK country manager for Mamut, said that the current economic situation meant the software was particularly attractive to users. "SMBs are under more pressure than ever to perform efficiently. Companies want to consolidate their back office IT requirements with their front end IT by using solutions which can help them save on time and cost. Mamut One provides everything a small business needs while boosting agility and business efficiency."
The company has already signed up some UK customers on a trial basis. "Mamut One enabled our employees to have real-time access to all of the company's content on a flexible basis providing invaluable business insights. Now, staff can access the data they need in real-time, wherever and whenever they need to," said Nic Wood, managing director of waste-disposal specialist Econix.
